  • Keep She/Her Fest Accessible

    She/Her Fest is entirely led and run by volunteers. Other than donations and sponsors, our only revenue streams are ticket sales and submission fees, both of which we keep under $30 to eliminate barriers for filmmakers and audiences. Your support helps keep our projector on.

  • Support Women in Film

    According to the article Women still face steep challenges securing top movie jobs, ”in 2025, women made up only 13% of the top 250 films. That level represents a 3-percentage-point decline from 2024, when women led 16% of the top-grossing movies, according to a San Diego State University study.”

    We aim to tackle this problem from the ground level, showing work from new filmmakers.

  • Quality Venue

    Filmmakers deserve to see their work in the space it was intended for: the theater. She/Her Fest partners with SIFF to provide our filmmakers with a quality venue right in the heart of Seattle. Your support ensures the event can take place there.

  • Nourish New Art

    She/Her Fest supports new and emerging filmmakers with a budget cap of $25,000. Your support nourishes these artists and helps fuel their confidence when starting their next project.

  • Build a More Inclusive Film Community

    Your generosity can motivate friends, family, and colleagues to do the same. Together we can create a filmmaking community that includes the voices of many. Your support inspires us!

  • Make Social Change

    Our unique awards are named after sexist slurs to draw awareness to the fact that these slurs are used over 2.8 million times per week online. Your support helps spread our message and change the rhetoric around what women bring to society.
